Remove tracking parameters

Strip UTM, fbclid, gclid, and similar trackers in the browser, then mask phone numbers, IDs, emails, and API keys. Original text is not uploaded. Open the page and use it.

Why strip tracking parameters before you share

Links copied from ads, email, or a shortener often carry utm_source, fbclid, gclid, and similar tags. Pasting that URL into a ticket or a group chat also forwards campaign and click identity. Clean Link keeps the part that opens the page and lists what was stripped so you can check.

The same page redacts PII: pick phones, national IDs, cards, emails, API keys, or IPs, then compare source and result side by side. Processing stays on this device. It is a first pass for support notes, demo screenshots, and outbound text.

  • Standard mode covers common tracking and attribution keys; Conservative mode only touches UTM and click IDs
  • Paste several links at once; copy all or export TXT
  • Redaction follows the types you select and does not send the paragraph to a server

FAQ

Does stripping UTM parameters upload the link?

No. Clean Link and text redaction run in the browser. Original URLs and text are not uploaded and are not written to analytics. Sign-in only unlocks the tool.

Which tracking parameters are removed?

Standard mode strips common UTM tags, ad click IDs such as fbclid and gclid, and some ecommerce attribution parameters. Conservative mode only touches UTM and click IDs. After a run, the tool lists what was removed.

Can redaction replace a human review?

No. It masks phones, national IDs, cards, emails, API keys, and IPv4 by type. That is a first pass before you share. Sensitive sends still need a human glance at the result.

Will the cleaned URL still open?

Usually yes. Tracking and attribution parameters are removed, not the page path. If a site stores real state in a custom query key, switch to Conservative mode or keep the ref parameter.
